Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed meal
  • 1/4 cup psyllium husk powder
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup warm water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, flaxseed meal, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add in the melted butter or coconut oil. Mix well.
  4. Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
  5. Pour in the warm water and mix until you get a thick dough-like consistency.
  6. Transfer the dough into the prepared loaf pan, smooth out the top, and let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the psyllium husk to absorb moisture.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
  9. Makes about 12 slices.
